Werder Bremen vs Eintracht Frankfurt<10>

Frankfurt rated low by the market — is it worth trusting?

Werder Bremen currently sit 16th in the table, five points clear of the relegation zone, but they are winless in their last six league matches. Their form has deteriorated badly, suffering heavy defeats to Stuttgart and Dortmund, while failing to score in three consecutive games. Both their attacking output and defensive stability are major concerns. Despite the relegation pressure, Bremen’s recent form and injury situation make them very hard to support.

Eintracht Frankfurt have also gone three matches without a win and have slipped out of the European qualification spots, so their form has been inconsistent as well. That said, their recent high-scoring games against Dortmund and Stuttgart show that the attacking threat is still there. Against Bremen’s fragile defence, Frankfurt should find chances, especially with three key starters returning for this match, which significantly boosts their overall strength. With Champions League qualification still within reach, Frankfurt have every reason to push hard for points here.

In the reverse fixture earlier this season, Frankfurt cruised to a 4–1 win over Bremen. Considering Bremen’s poor recent results, the lack of market support for Frankfurt is highly unusual. In my view, the bookmakers are deliberately leaning towards the home side and downplaying the away team’s clear edge — a classic trap for the public. Bremen will find it very difficult to win this match.

Prediction: Frankfurt win & Over 2.5 goals
